Organ Power X - Concerts

Once again, the fortunate gathered within the Carpenter Performing Arts Center (at the California State University - Long Beach campus)
 to enjoy the tenth anniversary of ORGAN POWER

D BEAM controller" to enhance the performance.

At this point in the program, Hector played a wonderful & meaningful rendition of

"Mr. K" is introduced near the conclusion of the concert
Mr. Kakehashi is the founder and now a special consultant of the Roland Corporation.
He is, and has been the driving force behind the conception & presentation of the Organ Power concerts.
 

Tonight, as it is the tenth year of Organ Power, Mr. Dennis Houlihan (President of Roland Corporation US) & Hector, presented Mr. K
with a special baton, representing the "Music Man" that he is - the leader of Organ Power music...
 

- so that he could lead the artists
in a Hector arranged version of "76 Trombones lead the big parade" ...
 

The downbeat and ...
 

(above & below) All of the seven artists present a stirring version of "76 Trombones ..."

 

Acknowledgements are given to all, as well as to "Maestro Hector Olivera" of Organ Power Number 10 comes to a close.
