March 2007 - Spring Concert Tour - Borrego Springs, CA

The Spring Concert Tour included performances at 19 different cities & towns from the east to the west coast.
We caught up with Hector on March 4 & 5, in Borrego Springs, CA - when he delighted the evening audience,
and then the next morning held the rapt attention of some 160 local school children as they learned just what
the Roland Atelier® can do - under the guidance of Hector's talented fingers and feet, of course.

Greeting the audience...

...and away we go with the fantastic music of Hector.

Playing to the audience - and to Harry as well, of course!

Hear the drums?

Thank you, thankyouverymuch!

The new fans, just couldn't get enough of Hector, so...

...the CD's sales were brisk, as many wanted to take a piece of Hector home with them.

On the next day, Monday morning, students from the Borrego Springs school's music students,
band members and more were ready for Hector...

Hector, briefing the students and teachers on the instrument, and how it became the "King of Instruments"
and that it really is one cool instrument.

The high school band members await what is to come.

OK, Let's DO IT !

Teachers and students alike listened...

While Hector performed some keyboard (& pedal board) magic.

Just wonderful

More, more...

After the concert, several children came up on the stage to chat with Hector,
and to learn more about this marvelous instrument.
Now ... if you press this key here...

Wow !  You mean like this?

From L to R - Jeremiah Busic, Jesus Ornelas, Natalie Perez, Juliette Wade, Faith Scott.

Yes !! Listen to that...

More fun, as we listen and learn more...

See, Faith, just put your finger here...

A bit tentative, but fascinating.

This little girl wanted Hector to play music from the Phantom of the Opera. She wanted to sing along...

...and Juliette Wade knew the words without failing...

A fun morning......

Hector performed for the children again at
St. Francis de Sales in Sherman Oakes, CA

From an eye-witness (Thank you David Demers):
"Today was certainly a high for all of us that got to experience a presentation that Hector did at St. Francis de Sales for the entire school.
At 1:45 the teachers from each of the six grades marched the students into the church for an experience of a lifetime.
Hector had them eating out of his hands. A little girl came up at the end in tears she was so moved.
Probably a fourth grade student. It was magic at its best to see these children exposed to music in a wholesome form.
We were all in tears watching these kids. Quite an experience."

Following the concert, the students wanted to meet Harry, (of course) as well....

Harry, Harry, Harry ...
