The Patton & Wilson families have a long and distinguished history with this Church.
(General) George S. Patton's in-laws were the Wilson's (Mount Wilson). This stained glass window
commemorates some of the General's war-time battles, with St. George looking on from above.
George S. Patton was born on 11/11/1885 in San Gabriel. He died on 12/21/1995.
Above, (& below) a close-up look of the lower right hand corner
with General Patton in a tank, as commander of the 2nd Armored Division.
Prior to the Sunday 4 pm concert, Dennis Houlihan (President of Roland US,
and the Rodgers corporations; Robert Tall, So-Cal dealer of Rodgers & Roland instruments,
and Hector; give the General statue a salute in the Churches cemetery area.
(Even though most of his relatives are interned here, the General choose to be buried among the soldiers
who died in the Battle of the Bulge in Hamm, Luxembourg.
The concert was a rousing success - a full house for the Maestro
